- This was the first episode to end on a cliffhanger, being concluded in The Rock Part 2.
- Steve McAndrew's comment about Gerry "munching on a robo-stogie" appears to be an in-joke related to British comics (much like most of the character names in Part Of A Whole and a couple in The Little Brother). it is a reference to Carlos Sanchez Robo-Stogie, a character from the 2000 AD strip Robo-Hunter.
