I'm assigned to the adding and editing following divisions for each episode in Series 1 as of August 2, 2015. The following is a list of what I'm doing along with any notes I deem necessary:

  1. Image — add an image to the article.
    • I'm currently using the following method:
      • Opening New Tricks via Windows Media Player
      • Going to the episode's scene selection
      • Choosing the thumbnail I think looks the best
      • Clicking on the scene and find the thumbnail reference within the episode
      • Taking a 1240 by 700 (16:9 aspect ratio) screenshot, any screen capture software will do; although I personally use Jing
      • Saving it as a PNG file, calling it the episode's name (e.g. Episode Name.png)
      • And finally, uploading it to the wiki
  2. Synopsis — add a short summary of the episode.
    • The BBC website seems to lack synopses for episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8, as these pages do not exist on their website. So I've been writing most of them in my own words, forging it directly from the episode's existing plot or the episode itself.
  3. Plot — adding in-depth episode plot.
    • Fortunately, GothicWolf seems to have done most of this already, which makes things easier. So thank you, GothicWolf.
  4. Cast — Add the main cast and guest cast.
    • I source mine directly from the episode's credit sequence—I have a word doc on the left-hand side of the screen, and the episode's credit sequence running on the right-hand side via Window's Media Player—writing down the name's as the film runs and pausing when necessary.
  5. Crew — Writing up the entire crew.
    • This one's the trickiest, as I've currently got no real method other than using an existing wiki article as a template — The Chinese Job for example, and jotting down the information on a word doc. I've only added one so far.
  6. Continuity—adding a note as a reference to where the episode sits on an overall timeline.
    • This one's interesting, and I've yet to add it to an episode. I don't think it's that much of priority, though, anyway, and it doesn't seem neccessary.
  7. Trivia—writing an interesting fact, or adding some notes in relation to the episode.
    • Usually, I'm not able to come up with anything from the top of my head but if anything occurs I add it immediately.

So that pretty much sums it all up in a nutshell. If you have any suggestions on what I should be doing differently then please don't hesitate to inform me.

Thank you,
